These television commercials are shytt!!!... I just hate’em, I mean if u want to make a commercial make a sensible one!
Last night I was watching TV and there’s one commercial which came, it said : that there are some foreigners who come to an open zoo or u can say a sanctuary park and they are riding on elephants and they have their ENGLISH-HINDI dictionary with them. So he asks the person who is the owner of the elephant he is riding on, that ‘I want to see a small elephant’ which means in Hindi- ‘CHOTA HAATHI’…and that guy takes him to some place…and says there’s the chota haathi, which initially is a small kind of TRUCK!
I mean HOW DUMB!...does that make any sense…at least not me!
I think these people on televisions should start using their brains and stop spending crores of money in such idiotic commercials!...

u r absolutely rite!!! they reallu suk...i once heard sum1 saying that special effects used in an advertisement r equal 2 the special effects used in a dinosaur movie!!!

wow...i cn see u r alredy amassing fanfare, eh? ;-) Well...u knw, it's nt the order of the day to have advertisements around tht suck big time. If u keep ur eyes open n actually conduct a survey, if u hv the time, u'll realise tht most of the advertisements tht come up are pretty good, more often than not. And well, I can vouch for one thing...there are more number of really awesome advertisements on circulation...much much more than the shitty ones. Well...for one, i do agree with rokingal...that sometimes, loads r spent for the special effects, be it a movie or just a commercial!! ;-)
i no..some commercials may be so good, or HILARIOUS..but yaar how does it make sense makin a truck said as CHOTA HATI...i no y dey say there...but somhow as i say it was totally DUMB!...
i have seen that advertisement too.. and as u say the idea is DUMB!!

well...i agree...as far as this very ad is concerned...it's dumb...bt then it's dumb for u n me, hu happen to hv a li'l higher intellectual level thn the people from the rural sector...hu r the actual ones to buy tht truck n nt u n me....;-)

u are right girl! Couldn't they have thought of a better idea that a "kutty yanaii"?? (that is 'small elephant' in our language)
