Million Little Pieces is a book by the author JAMES FREY.
I had issued this book from mah library and well the book review said
'Aged just 23, James Frey had destroyed his body and his mind almost beyond repair when he enters a rehabilitation centre to try to reclaim his life, he has to fight to determine what future, if any, he has. His lack of self-pity, cynicism and piety gives him an unflinching-honesty-a fearless candour that is at once charming and appalling searing and darkly funny'
My Words :
According to me it is an awesome and a beautiful novel. It has 513 pages.
This book teaches you so much, even if you dont want to rehabilitate from something it tells you basics of life. You cant realll resist it and specially when James can describe it so well...
One of the facts that this book is so beautifully described up and so amazing and challenging because it is a real story of James Frey. He actually went through everything mentioned in the book, except something might be edited *hehe*He used to drink, do drugs and was a criminal, never believed in God, but only in himself and his confidence. He started doing all the stuff at the age of 10. Cant believe James was so courageous and so confident that he actually came to normal, facing so much of pain... He went through his root canal without taking any anesthesia, beat that!?!?!!!
At many levels/stages the whole thing is do damn explained and described well that Yeah! it made me weep, Like where he hugs his mother after like 10 years... somewhere it made me feel as if it wasn't someone but me experiencing all of it.
I like when he swears. If you read this book, then there is a fact that, the number of times you come across the word 'Fuck' in the book, will be more than how much you might have said before... mostly in every line, he or some character will go 'Fuck' or 'MotherFucker' or he himself... well itz okay, it just makes me laugh... There was a review at the end of the book "James Frey can write well. Brilliantly. And if you don't think so, then, F*** you" *heheheheheeheheheee*
From my side it is highly recommended, you most read it... its just... AWESOME!!!!!!
